With a generous 360 watt output and 12 speakers, the Harman Kardon® hi-fi loudspeaker system has been fine-tuned to match your vehicle’s interior – and the result is an outstanding listening experience. The perfectly positioned, high-performance speakers let you enjoy music of all genres from every seat. Four midrange speakers in the front doors and rear doors provide natural-sounding mid-tones and sharp, crystal-clear trebles. The two central bass speakers are neatly tucked away beneath the front seat, ensuring the sound has depth and warmth. Harman Kardon systems look as good as they sound, too. The exclusiv Harman Kardon nameplates on the tweeters mounted in the A-pillars add a further dash of individuality and style. With the Chromeline interior – option 345 – the midrange speakers in the front doors come resplendent in a sleek chrome frame.

Available as part of the MINI Connected Media package or higher, the MINI instrument cluster replaces the conventional tacho. Aesthetically pleasing, in a sleek Black Panel design and positioned in your direct line of sight, it provides key information in a distinctive, modern display. The crisp 5.0” digital screen and the displays flanking it provide details like your revs per minute, speed, fuel level, mileage, temperature and navigation instructions – as well as general vehicle information and check control alerts.

The alarm system can be operated via remote control, offers protection against theft and includes an electronic engine immobiliser. Should anyone attempt to break into the vehicle or remove it, the system triggers a warning sound and activates the hazard lights. A status light in the interior mirror shows that the system has been activated. The interior surveillance and tilt alarm can be deactivated separately.
