FUSE SESSION 01: JOBURG EDITION
Our first Fuse Session was about showing BIG LOVE for the Planet, with key opinion leaders like Jeremy Loops, Zandile Tshabalala, Jasper Eales and Gift Lubele speaking about how they are bringing about change with sustainability initiatives like turning waste into wearables, re-greening through tree-planting, founding a digital recycling platform, and creating art that speaks to our natural world.
Jeremy Loops is a musician from Cape Town and the co-founder of Greenpop, a tree-planting organisation that helps to restore ecosystems through reforestation, food gardening, and environmental stewardship.
Zandile Tshabalala is a fine artist who uses the natural world and environment in her work to evoke her audience’s curiosity and address messages of strength and confidence.
Jasper Eales is the co-founder of lifestyle brand Sealand that recycles waste and turns it into ready-to-wear gear and apparel.
Gift Lubele is co-founder and chief operating officer of the digital recycling platform Kudoti, which Fast Company named one of 2020’s most innovative companies in South Africa.
