The ALL4 all-wheel drive system distributes power dynamically between all wheels, giving you terrain-tackling traction and grip on all surfaces. And if it
detects any loss of traction due to wet or icy surfaces, it shifts power dynamically as needed. This lets you take advantage of the rugged, adventurous nature of your all-electric MINI Countryman. So whatever the forecast holds, you stay in control – and in your element.
The optional Driving Assistant is like having an extra pair of eyes. It warns you about vehicles in the “blind spot” and if needed actively supports steering your MINI back into the lane. In addition it helps detecting crossing traffic behind you when you are reversing with your MINI. Driving Assistant Plus includes camera and radar-based driver assistance features. It makes getting to your destination more relaxing by automatically maintaining your desired speed, lane, and distance to the preceding vehicle.

At MINI, we are committed to pioneering a balance that embraces MINI performance and iconic design with sound environmental credentials. This commitment is born out of our actions. We now offer a completely animal-friendly, leather-free interior using sustainable, partly recycled materials. Our 2D flat knit for dashboards, door panels and lids is made from over 90% recycled polyester fibers. And our new generation wheels are now made from up to 70% secondary aluminum.
Animal-friendly interiors are now available for MINI vehicles as we can now offer exciting substitutes for leather. Innovative seat surfaces constructed from knitted 100% recycled textiles, which provide the same premium quality and seating comfort as leather, ensure there are no compromises in terms of look, feel and functionality. And our new steering wheels fulfil all the demanding criteria when it comes to appearance, wear and durability.
The dashboard and armrests in our doors are now fitted with a quality knitted textile made of recycled polyester yarn. Following an innovative process that turns over 90% of recycled polyester fibres into a 2D flat woven fabric, we then use this textile for the knitted parts of the dashboard and the door panels. The process uses around 98% less water than cotton, and it reduces CO2 emissions by around 80% compared to conventional polyester processing.
Our guiding principle during the design process and product development is “reclaimed first.” Up to 70% of reclaimed aluminium from aluminium scrap is used for the rims in our new-generation MINI vehicles. In conjunction with the green electricity used, we save around 90% of the energy required compared with primary aluminium production. Secondary aluminium production is associated with 95% fewer greenhouse emissions.

Your dash's beating heart and focal point is the stunning, circular OLED touchscreen. Using state-of-the-art OLED technology with a diameter of 240 mm and its high-quality glass lending it a distinctive, minimalist appearance. The fun starts the second you grip the steering wheel. Inspired by the timeless classic Mini we have given it a redesign, slightly reducing the size to give you an even more intense, classic-contemporary MINI go-kart feeling. And instead of a third spoke it now features a stylish, decorative fabric strap. With a fully charged battery the new all-Electric MINI Countryman can reach a range up to 462 km. The range will vary according to driving habits and conditions. How you drive can make a big difference to your available range and how quickly your charge is used.
Everything you need for public charging is standard equipment of your new MINI with the MINI Charging Card and the Mode 3 charging cable, and no additional hardware is needed. You can take advantage of the ever-growing number of public charging stations that are equipped with both alternating current (AC) via a Type 2 connector, and direct current (DC) via a CCS plug that let charges your vehicle with up to 130 kW electric power. And you benefit from attractive tariffs and charging packages.
The combination of practically-sized charging capacity and stable charging performance of your MINI ensures you can take many ways to reach your destination – and always have several charging options within reach.
Many employers have now embraced electric mobility and offer a truly modern workspace by providing EV charging for their employees. The new MINI Operating System 9 opens up a completely new intuitive user experience and ensures you're connected and in control more than ever before – on every journey. It’s optimised for your interaction with the exquisite OLED touchscreen and your MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant using your spoken voice, so you now enjoy more intelligent personalisation and emotion than ever before.
A full-featured voice assistant has found its way into the cockpit of the MINI models for the first time. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant can be activated using the greeting “Hey MINI” or by pressing the push-to-talk button on the steering wheel. Voice-controlled interaction on the circular OLED display takes the form of an animation featuring graphical elements, typography and an avatar. In terms of the display, drivers can choose between “MINI” – a stylised image of a MINI – and the new digital MINI assistant known as “Spike”.
The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant operate key functions of your MINI, like the navigation, telephony, the radio or even control the temperature. Maybe there’s something you need to know about your journey. The weather. Or you have a special request. Even if it’s just for a little chat, or you want to hear a joke.
Driving is a breeze when you have a digital companion as well as access to a host of intelligent connectivity features that come standard, at no extra cost, that offer convenience, safety and connectivity. And should you want to equip your MINI with even more digital services, you can upgrade anytime.
In conjunction with the optional MINI Connected Package you have access to an ever growing range of practical features and entertaining apps, including options for gaming, music and video streaming. You can now also look forward to a form of in-car gaming that is unique in the automotive sector.
Drivers and passengers can play so-called casual games in the AirConsole app when the vehicle is stationary. Music streaming apps like Spotify and Amazon Music have been adapted to the MINI Operating System 9 so that they integrate perfectly into the round MINI Interaction Unit, enabling MINI customers to enjoy an intuitive and visually appealing music streaming experience. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available in the MINI Operating System 9 for wireless smartphone connectivity.
Besides appearing on the MINI Interaction Unit, relevant information can also be shown on the optionally available Head-Up Display.
You can now flexibly book additional connectivity features and packages after you've purchased your MINI thanks to our MINI Remote Software Upgrades. And if you have the corresponding hardware installed, you can also experience your MINI with other great digital premium functions, too, such as Driving Assistant Plus, High Beam Assist and Remote Engine Start.
