In an emergency, don’t worry if you can’t call for help—your MINI will do it for you! Since 3/2015, all new MINI models come equipped with an intelligent Emergency Call system that automatically contacts emergency services, shares your location and car details, and provides updates on the specifics of the accident. 

This call can be triggered not only by pressing the SOS button but also automatically, for example, if the airbags deploy. Simply press the SOS button if you need immediate assistance, and we’ll take care of the rest.

FAQs.

For your MINI, service is not routinely performed at fixed intervals. Instead, it is based on actual vehicle use (number of cold starts, driving habits, type of driving: urban traffic, motorway, etc.). With "Condition Based Services" (CBS), the condition of your MINI is monitored by sensors and special algorithms. For a new vehicle, a theoretical date will be set for the first service, which will be adjusted as your vehicle is used. You will only be notified in the event of a required service.

The MINI Accident and Roadside Assistance services include a towing service for your vehicle, a courtesy vehicle, the continuation of your journey by taxi, accommodation in a hotel, assistance in the event of a flat tyre, vehicle storage and a charging service for electric vehicles. MINI also supports you in recording accident data, notifies your nearest MINI Retailer and advises you on alternative travel options. With each service of your MINI at a MINI Service Partner, you will automatically be entitled to the MINI Roadside Assistance services for a maximum of 24 months.

Proactive Care is a service promise for all service and maintenance work on your MINI and is included in the scope of your MINI Connected contract at no extra cost. Your vehicle automatically recognises a service requirement or a problem and reports this to you via your preferred communication channel and to your MINI Service Partner. Depending on your needs, you will receive notifications with instructions for self-help as a push notification in the MINI App, a message in your vehicle or you will be contacted by MINI Accident and Roadside Assistance or your preferred MINI Service Partner. You can arrange service appointments with your MINI Service Partner using Online Appointment Scheduling in the MINI App. The execution of services meets the highest MINI quality standards. The scope of the work carried out, its costs and the expected delivery date are transparent to you at all times. Please note: Depending on the country of delivery, the scope of maintenance work offered by "Proactive Care" may vary.
Yes. Your MINI Service Partner automatically receives information about your vehicle and its service requirements if you have logged in to the BMW web page with your MINI ID and have arranged a service appointment for a vehicle linked to your MINI ID. If you have not logged in to the MINI web page with your MINI ID, only the data you have entered in the form will be transmitted to the MINI Service Partner.
Click on the profile icon in the header of the MINI web page and log in with your MINI ID. After successful login, select: "Accessories & Services" > "Services for my MINI" > "Online Appointment Scheduling". Alternatively, you can click on "MINI Retailer" in the header of the MINI web page, select a MINI Service Partner and then select "Online Appointment Scheduling".

Yes. In the event of a recall campaign, you will receive a notification on the central information display of your MINI, in the MINI App or by post, e-mail or telephone. In addition to information on the facts and the next steps, you will receive the contact details of MINI customer support for any queries. Until the action is complete, it remains stored in the vehicle status menu of the MINI App and in your vehicle.
