Our next Fuse Session brought in game-changing speakers to discuss BIG LOVE for the People, with Tshepo Mohlala, Lelowhatsgood, Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi and Louzanne Coetzee taking us through their work, covering topics like what it takes to start a bespoke SA denim brand, queer representation in media and entertainment, the connection between art and social justice, and how to inspire differently abled athletes to reach new heights.

MEET THE PANEL:

Tshepo-Mohala

Tshepo Mohlala founded denim brand Tshepo in 2015 and offers a range of bespoke denim clothing and ready-to-wear products. His brand has established itself in the hearts and minds of ordinary South Africans and people across the world.

Lelo

Lelo is an innovative creative force bringing disruption in African media & entertainment. Lelo is a young, unapologetically black, queer creative equipped with many skills and talents, helping to redefine South African queer culture.

Lelo

Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi is an award-winning South African American painter and multimedia artist. She believes that art and social justice go hand in hand and, as such, her works deal with themes of black and brown bodies changing the power dynamics of space.

Louzanne Coetzee

Louzanne Coetzee is a South African para-athlete who was born visually impaired. She competes in the T11 disability class for athletes with the highest level of visual impairment. She has won silver and bronze medals at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and is an inspiration to differently-abled athletes.
