This package adds extra functions to your MINI’s exterior and interior mirrors to make your drive safer and more comfortable. Electrically folding side mirrors protect your MINI from damage when you park. The automatic parking function adjusts the tilt on the passenger side mirror downward while in reverse to guide you. The electrochromic glass of the driver’s side mirror dims to protect your eyes from glare. And you can save your preferred mirror and seat settings using the key-dependent memory function. In cold weather, your mirrors automatically warm up to reduce condensation and prevent ice building up. And you get greeted every time by a MINI logo projection from your external mirror on both driver and passenger side.

Enhancing your safety and comfort at night, the automatic anti-dazzle function reduces glare from cars behind you. Two photosensors detect if the light from behind is greater than from the front, and then gradually adjust the reflectance of the mirror according to the intensity. Since you don’t have to operate the mirror manually, your hands can safely remain on the steering wheel.

See things you might have missed. In addition to powerful and efficient Bi-LED technology for low- and high beam these LED headlights offer adaptive low beam distribution with increased illumination at the sides; for brighter insights in curves and corners – for city, rural and motorway traffic as well as in bad weather. In the light menu, you can choose from three distinctive light-signatures created by daytime running light elements for front- and rear light – complemented by a corresponding welcome and goodbye staging. Making light work of driving at night. When activated, the high beam automatically turns on when it is dark and turns off automatically where the roads are sufficiently lit. The High-Beam assistant is a front facing sensor integrated into the front of your MINI’s interior mirror. And it makes driving at night much safer by automatically switching the headlights from high-beam to low-beam to avoid dazzling road users. It switches back to full-beam once the road ahead is clear.

Like having an extra pair of eyes. The radar-based driver assistance system warns you about vehicles in the “blind spot” and if needed actively supports steering your MINI back into the lane. In addition it helps detecting crossing traffic behind you when you are reversing with your MINI. It also helps preventing accidents in the rear e.g. by warning approaching traffic by flashing your MINI ‘s hazard lights. Last but not least it warns you when you open the door for exiting your MINI in case there is a risk of a collision with traffic passing by from the back. Please note that the systems contained in this equipment only provide assistance within specifically defined limits. The MINI Wireless Charging tray, located in the front area of the centre console, lets you securely store and safely charge any Qi 1.2-compatible smartphone as you drive, with up to 15 W power. Simply place your device onto the NFC pad to give it a top up. And it features an active cooling system to prevent your device from overheating to ensure optimal performance.
